So... yeah. I totally suck as a blogger.

Simply put, I've been a terrible blogger. My last blog entry was Christmas Eve and now here we are... it's freaking January 13th and I've written no new blog (until now).

But I have amazing okay passable excuses for my being a failure of a blogger.

First Excuse:

You see, I met a guy.

No, not this guy. But I think "my" guy is pretty cool like Rob...
which I guess is a pretty good sign for him. :)

We met at a New Years Eve party. And without getting too much into detail (just like RPatts, I do want to keep my private life private) we're off to a pretty good start. We've spent some time together and hopefully we'll be spending some time together this weekend. I like him and I've made pretty it clear that I'm interested in him. And by all accounts he seems to like me. We've exchanged phone calls and texts (mainly only texts but this is a new... thing or-whatever-I-should-call-it... phone calls will come later if all goes well). We'll see how things play out.

Second Excuse:

My roomie and I have been planning my epic Rockstar Birthday party which will happen at the end of this month. I'm turning the big 2-7 and I want this birthday to be big. Like, bigger than big. So far my birthday plans are as follows:

1) On the night of my birthday a few friends and I are attending a Phoenix concert at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas (if you haven't heard of Phoenix then you simply haven't lived, friend. Check them out, stat.)

Phoenix is running towards you to make you their fan. You won't regret this, trust me.

2) I'm taking the day after my birthday off (I work a full day on my actual birthday, the Phoenix concert is after work that same day, then the following day I'm taking as PTO). During my day off my roomie and I are planning on going to get massages, grab some lunch then go see Sherlock Holmes. I'm an uncultured fuck and haven't seen it yet even though I've been desperate to see it since I saw the first trailer for it way back, oh, I don't know.... 4 freaking months ago.

"We are pretty disappointed in you, our dear Sadie.
We suppose your seeing our movie as
a birthday plan will remedy the situation." - Holmes & Watson

3) On the night after my "Day Off From Work, Massage & Sherlock Holmes Day" (that title is a work in progress) I will have my Official Rockstar Birthday Party. About 15 of my closest friends and the birthday girl (me!) will be heading back to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, specifically to Pink Taco where we'll eat some food, start drinkin'.... then eventually make our way over to Wasted Space for drinkin', drinkin' and more drinkin'... What I'm saying is that I'm planning on getting drunk. "It's my birthday and I'll DRINK if I want to." Sooooo.... WOOOOOO!!! I'M DRINKIN'!!!!!! Sadie's getting WASTED at Wasted Space!! (PMSL)

4) The day after my Official Rockstar Birthday Party will be reserved as a hangover recovery day. Sleep, drink water and Gatorade, eat bland food, veg on the couch. That's it.

Conclusion:

So my point is this. I've been a blogger failure because I've been busy planning my epic birthday plans at the end of the month and, at the same time, I've been romancing (or trying to romance) a new guy. And those are legitimate excuses, right? Right? Right??!? ;)

(I really want to tell you all "my" new guy's name because it's so ironic that I like this guy... "my" guy has this particular name... a name that I seem to have a prerequisite attraction to.... if that hint makes sense at all...

EDIT - Here's a hint:
What is this person's first name?

And what shortened version of his first name does this person like to be called?)

From now on I promise to be better at blogging. I promise to blog regularly. Maybe not daily, but definitely on a more regular basis.

  1. Shall I try to guess your new man's name?

    Bobby?

Is that guess hot or cold?

    Vegas style.
    Hope you have fun!
